Good training changes what people do on Monday morning. For nearly twenty years, I have taught professionals, community members, and frontline staff about prevention, addiction, and mental health, in settings from team meetings to national conferences. I design training as well as deliver it. My work includes a research-based underage gambling prevention program, training for gaming facility employees, competency-based online and in-person courses for prevention and mental health professionals, a statewide training series for corrections and community supervision staff, and self-study online versions of core trainings. I can build something new around your workforce and learning goals.

Sessions respect your participants’ time and expertise. I use real examples, short activities, and room for questions, and I adjust the depth and language to the people in the room. Participants leave with a clear understanding of the issue and specific skills they can use right away. I can provide handouts and follow-up resources, and I am glad to help you pursue continuing education credit when that is a goal for your event.on
